Congratulations, Class of 2018!

Although it's time to say hello to summer, it's also time to say goodbye to our seniors. Our senior class of 2018 is full of amazing women who have given their all to Eta Lambda. These women are your future leaders, politicians, scientists, teachers, business women, and so much more. We are so proud of these ladies as they enter into the world representing Alpha Phi. Good luck with all of your future endeavors, ladies! AOE.

Favorite Alpha Phi memory:

My favorite Alpha Phi memory is being able to share the APhi bond with my sister Caroline Myers at Tech. Not only are we real sisters but we are also sorority sisters.

Favorite Alpha Phi memory:

There are way too many great memories to choose from but my top two would be: meeting my little Cords and having her finally become my little AND also finally finding my girl squad to do life with (The Flossey Possey)! I wouldn't be the person I am today without all the amazing people I have in my life today and that is all thanks to Alpha Phi.

Psychology with a concentration in Fitness/Developmental & a minor in Business

Favorite Alpha Phi memory:

Being the President of Alpha Phi was a life changing experience. If someone told me four years ago that I would have the opportunity to lead a group of some of the most ambitious, beautiful, inspiring women on the George Mason campus I would have never believed them. Alpha Phi made me into a woman worthy of the title. The sisterhood taught me that though we are all different we all have something to offer our chapter, classes, campus, and world. The sisters of Alpha Phi don’t change who you are but amplify who you’ve always been and for that I will always be grateful. Thank you for making me a leader and your president. Love and AOE ladies 💛

Favorite Alpha Phi Memory:

Getting both my big & my little are my favorite memories in Alpha Phi. The happiness is a feeling I can’t even describe. They were both my rock throughout my college experience. I grew up an only child & it’s amazing to know that I am graduating with sisters that I will have for the rest of my life.

Accounting

Favorite Alpha Phi Memory:

My favorite Alpha Phi memory was getting my little! The entire week of reveal was an exciting process, I got to spoil her and give her fake clues as to who I was. She’s such an important person in my life now and I probably would have never met her if it wasn’t for alpha phi. I also really loved work week because it’s a time where every sister truely bonds and gets to know each other on a different level.

Communication

Favorite Alpha Phi Memory:

My favorite Alpha Phi memory was getting elected as Panhellenic Delegate. When I was elected, I was going through a pretty rough time and not believing in my potential. However, Alpha Phi gave me sisters that believed in me even when I didn’t have the courage to do so. Serving as delegate gave me the opportunity to get to know my sisters better and to get to know members of the Panhellenic community. I’m thankful that Eta Lambda entrusted me and thankful for all the sisters who always supported me. AOE❤️

Favorite Alpha Phi Memory:

Bonding with my pledge class sisters the night before initiation. There is nothing to compare to what it was like hearing each of my future sisters personal reflections on what Aphi means to them. It made us all the more closer and I cherish the close friendships I have made from it ❤️

Maggie McClure

Criminology with a concentration in Homeland Security

Favorite Alpha Phi Memory:

My favorite memory was running home back to my chapter after being a Rho Gamma. I got to do it with one of my best friends Erin Mitchell and we both loved it. Not only did I get to help other girls find their homes in other chapters, but I got to run back with 14 girls from my Rho Gamma group. Seeing them fall in love with Alpha Phi reminded me how much I love this chapter and everyone in it. Being away from my sisters for almost two months strengthened my love for Alpha Phi while also showing why I fell in love with this sisterhood in the first place. Getting to run back into my sisters' arms and reuniting with them was a moment I will never forget.
